I have learnt ALOT about the Central Coast since moving here almost 8 years ago - I got married here myself, and back then all I ever knew about was Terrigal! But this incredible part of the world has endless locations, both beachy and rural (and everything in between) to tie the knot at. I have been very fortunate to photograph at a wide variety of them, and have gotten to know the incredibly hard working teams behind them, so I’ve decided to round up my Fave 5! This is in no way a definitive list, as there’s many I’m yet to photograph at, but hopefully it will be helpful for those who are looking to get married on the Central Coast in the future, and are looking for ideas #centralcoastnsw #lovecentralcoast #centralcoastweddings

The Ridge Estate, Peats Ridge

I absolutely love this venue, and it always feels like 'coming home' whenever I'm there. Nicole, Pete & their team have an amazing knack for transforming the space in such a unique way for each individual wedding. There are versatile reception and ceremony spaces, endless parking, and great "golden hour" light. It has a very down to earth and relaxed vibe about it, and when you're there it's as if you're in the middle of nowhere - in the best way!!

Gracelands, Forresters Beach

This is such a special venue - and let me tell you, the first thing I say when I hear anyone has booked Gracelands is "oh my goodness, THE FOOD & BEVERAGE!" Truly, Gracelands has the most incredible catering, and their approach to customer service is second to none. It is a versatile space, being able to hold both ceremonies and receptions, and it has such a great vibe to it both during the day and at night.

Kantara House, Greenpoint

With the addition of their recently built stunning Chapel, Kantara House has transformed itself into a truly all in one space! Honestly, I feel the Central Coast was crying out for a venue like this for years, and being in such a central location, it ticks so many boxes. I look forward to shooting here again in the future!

Valley Events Centre, Glenworth Valley

Wow oh wow. Where to start with Glenworth? The huge open plains, the multiple options for both ceremony and reception (especially with the recent construction of their events centre) and, THE HORSES! Plus their lovely and very helpful team - who, might I add, are incredibly good at driving 4WDs on steep and rocky uphill roads haha.

Pearl on the Beach, Pearls Beach

This little spot is a personal favourite of mine to shoot at, and is an ideal location for elopements or more intimate weddings. The beach and surrounding cliff faces provide a stunning backdrop for photos, and there is never too many people there (so they are easy enough to Photoshop out hehe), plus THE LIGHT. With the nearby recently renovated "Pearls on the Beach" restaurant, it has the option of hosting smaller receptions also.
